Skidmarks, a racing game with a multitude of features, is a unique descendant of Super Sprint. It was one of the last multi-format games to have roots on the Amiga and offers a vast array of options for players. A variety of cars are available, including F1 cars, sportscars, Minis, and VWs.
The game's customizable nature allows players to set the number of laps, car color, and power. As players repeatedly race a track, the markings on the course are eroded by the cars running over them, adding an extra layer of realism to the game.
Gameplay in Skidmarks is varied and exciting, with 24 circuits available to race. The tracks feature walls that allow for crash-bang-wallop racing, and some have parts that intersect with each other, making collisions possible if players are ahead or behind other cars. Players can choose to run single races or participate in one of the in-built championships.
