Gremlins is based on the Steven Spielberg movie of the same name, but has its own unique twists and turns.

The story follows Billy as he must catch Mogwai that are jumping from a roof to get at hamburgers on the ground. If he succeeds in catching all of them, it's off to the next level. However, if he misses eight, he'll be faced with a shooting screen where he must fend off gremlins.

On the shooting screen, Gremlins are approaching from a distance, and Billy must shoot them before they reach him. If one of them touches him, it's game over. After all the gremlins have been defeated, it's back to the first level at an increased speed. In later levels, puddles of water will split the gremlins in two, adding a new layer of challenge.


