Call of Duty: Vanguard is a first-person shooter and the 18th installment in the overall Call of Duty series. This entry focuses on a fictional story of a special forces unit at the end of World War II.
The game's multiplayer mode features various modes, including Champion Hill and Arms Race. In Arms Race, two teams of twelve players compete to capture five bases.
Vanguard is connected with Call of Duty: Warzone , allowing players to progress and use weapons, operators and other cosmetics items across both titles. The cooperative Zombies mode also returns.
