Langrisser IV & V: Final Edition is a Playstation release of two strategy RPG games bundled together. The game follows the story of two separate sub-stories within the Langrisser series. The first part, Langrisser IV , takes place in 15th century Germany and focuses on the struggles between factions vying for power. Meanwhile, the second part, Langrisser V: Final Edition , is set in a fantasy world with medieval-inspired settings.

The gameplay involves tactical turn-based combat, resource management, and character development. Players control a party of soldiers, making decisions on troop movements, equipment selection, and diplomacy to achieve victory. The game requires strategic thinking and planning ahead, as the outcome of each battle can have significant consequences for the story and ultimate victory.
