Bioshock is a first-person shooter game set in the underwater city of Rapture. The year is 1960, and the player takes on the role of Jack, a plane crash survivor who awakens in Rapture with amnesiacs to uncover the secrets behind his past and the mysterious events that have led to the city's downfall.
As Jack navigates through the decaying underwater metropolis, he discovers that Rapture was once a utopia for scientists and artists, but it has since become a dystopian nightmare.
