Kinect Joy Ride was one of the launch titles for Microsoft's Kinect device for the Xbox 360. It's been billed as the "first hands-free racing game". The game uses a player's Xbox Avatar as the in-game character.
The gameplay involves holding hands out in front, controlling the character as if holding an invisible steering wheel, and moving hips to drift. Speed boosts can be achieved by thrusting arms forward and back, while large jumps and stunts are performed during flight by twisting the body.
The game features various tracks and challenges, along with unlockable content such as new tracks. It also includes a two-player offline mode and online play for up to eight players.
