This is a sci-fi action game where players control Kaisato Hayato, a hero named "Goukaizer," to combat a rising evil at a futuristic academy on an artificial island. You'll use the power of a "Kaiser Stone" to fight against the mysterious incidents plaguing the school.
Story
The Setting: 2017 A.D.
In 1999, a devastating earthquake struck the Kanto region. As a result, Tokyo's capital functions were relocated to a 30,000-hectare artificial island in Tokyo Bay.
This island's public order and traffic are managed by a central computer. Its central district houses the "National Bernard Academy," a super-mammoth school with 105,400 students. This academy has produced many geniuses who are now active globally.
Rising Evil
Despite the central computer's absolute rule, heinous incidents have become frequent on the artificial island. These incidents show a strange consistency, beginning after a new principal was appointed to the National Bernard Academy. Some perceive the shadow of a great evil at play.
Kaisato Hayato
Kaisato Hayato has arrived at the National Bernard Academy. He carries a "Kaiser Stone," which crystallizes fighting spirit. As the burning hero "Goukaizer," he is here to confront the great evil.

How to Play
Game Rules
•
If your health gauge reaches 0, you lose that round.
•
Matches are 3 rounds. Winning 2 rounds clears the round.
•
If a winner is not decided within the round time limit, the player with more remaining health wins.
•
In the case of a double KO or if remaining health is the same, it's a draw.
•
If a winner is not decided after 3 rounds, it goes into a final round, and the winner of the final round wins the match.
How to Play the Game
Title Screen
When you insert the cassette into the console and turn on the power, the title and demo screens will be displayed. Press the start button to move to the game mode selection screen.
Game Mode Selection
Select the game mode.
If you want to play a normal game, select "GAME START". If you want to play only a versus battle, select "VS BATTLE" with the lever and confirm with the A button.
Player Select
Select the character you want to use.
Move the cursor left and right with the lever and confirm with the A button.
Continue
If you lose a match, a continue count will be displayed.
If you wish to continue the match, please press the start button before the count reaches 0. You can continue up to 3 times.
In 2P matches, the displayed number of continues does not decrease.
Difficulty Setting
This is displayed only when "GAME START" is selected.
Select with the lever up/down and confirm with the A button.
Game Option Settings
This is displayed only when "VS BATTLE" is selected. This option is only for "VS BATTLE".
Use the control lever up and down to select an item, and left and right to change the content.

About Memory Card Backup
This game allows you to easily back up your progress data by using a separately sold "memory card."
Insert the memory card securely into the memory card slot of the Neo Geo console, and follow the instructions below to save and load your game.
Load (Data Retrieval) Method
If the memory card is correctly set, the "Load Selection Screen" will be displayed before the game starts.
Select "YES" with the lever and press the A button to continue playing from the last save.
Save (Data Recording) Method
If the memory card is correctly set, the "Save Selection Screen" will be displayed after the game is over.
Select "YES" with the lever and press the A button to record your progress data (some software may automatically save during the game).
Normally, multiple saves for the same game are not possible. Therefore, if data for the same game is saved on the memory card, the previous data will be automatically erased, so please be careful.
About Card Formatting (Initialization)
New memory cards are not formatted (initialized). Please format them according to the following steps before use.

① Correctly set your Neo Geo cassette and memory card in the Neo Geo console.
•
② While simultaneously pressing the A~D buttons on the 1P controller, press the reset button on the Neo Geo console.
•
③ When the "Data Screen" appears on the TV, select "Card Format" with the lever.
•
④ Press the A button to complete the formatting.

Special Move Trace System
This new system allows you to inherit the special moves of defeated opponents. After winning a match, a screen will appear showing the effects and commands of the inherited move, and you can choose whether or not to copy it.

Burning Hero Goukaizer
Hayato Kaiza is a standard character with projectiles for zoning and solid anti-air moves, recommended even for beginners. He favors an aggressive, burning playstyle.
Honobono Seiten Taisei Karin
Karin-chan is the 133rd Seiten Taisei, tasked with protecting world peace, and she boasts quick movements and a number of slightly unusual special moves.
Crazy Smile Captain Atlantis
Randy Riggs, after wearing an ancient mask, transforms into Captain Atlantis, an invincible warrior who emphasizes power with unparalleled attack strength but lacks agile movements.
