The story of Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer begins with an earthquake that devastates Tokyo, forcing Japan to rebuild on a man-made island off its coast. Years later, tensions rise between citizens when a new principal arrives at the National Belnar Institute. Amidst this chaos, student Isato Kaiza arrives, possessing a stone that allows him to transform and harness energy.
The gameplay of Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer is centered around 2D fighting games, where players can choose from 10 unique characters with distinct moves and abilities. One notable feature is the ability to incorporate defeated opponents' special abilities into one's own move set, although this comes at the cost of losing a previously chosen move.
