Yoshi's New Island is a platformer that continues the story of Yoshi's Island . Your goal is to care for Baby Mario as he travels through various levels, ultimately reaching his real parents. After a misdelivered stork brings the wrong house to Baby Mario, Kamek appears and tries to kidnap him again. However, this time Baby Mario falls onto an isolated island inhabited by Yoshis.
Yoshi's New Island features vibrant, paint-style graphics reminiscent of classic SNES games on the Nintendo 3DS . The gameplay is similar to its predecessor, where you control Yoshi as he navigates through levels while avoiding enemies and keeping Baby Mario safe.
