Star Raiders is an action-packed adventure game where you play as the pilot of an interstellar starship. Your mission is to destroy all enemy spacecraft on the galactic chart and prevent them from destroying your starbases. There are three types of fighters in the galaxy: cruisers, fighters, and basestars.
Your goal is to find the sectors where these fighters are located using your galactic map, warp there, and destroy them. However, be careful not to run out of energy, as warping, taking damage from enemy fire, or colliding with an asteroid will drain it quickly. If you run out of energy, your starship will be destroyed, but you can refuel at any starbase to get back in the fight.
