The story behind Star Strike is one of urgency and precision. You fly a space craft into the enemy launch trench, where your mission is to destroy an alien station before Earth passes directly over it. With alien ships defending the area, you must navigate through them while targeting the red "Hot Targets". If you fail to hit the first red target when Earth is in the middle of the launch trench, a missile will be launched, destroying Earth.
The gameplay of Star Strike requires strategic thinking and quick reflexes. You control your space craft as it moves through the launch trench, avoiding alien ships while trying to destroy the red targets. The game demands attention and accuracy, making it challenging to achieve success. With a limited amount of fuel and lives, you must plan your approach carefully to ensure you complete your mission.
