Threshold

The game's difficulty level increases over time. Your fuel tank fills up after clearing waves, but it also depletes faster if you don't clear them promptly. A laser on your ship is limited by a heat bar that increases with every shot fired. Once the bar reaches its maximum, you must wait for it to cool down before firing again.
