Earth has been left on the brink of destruction by humanity's recklessness, leaving behind a toxic wasteland that threatens its very existence. The space-based terrorist organization, Gulfer, seeks to exploit this pollution to create a deadly weapon. In response, the Leezaluth forces issue an ultimatum: destroy Gulfer or face annihilation themselves. To aid Earth in this desperate battle, they entrust its last hope, Dan, with a powerful tool known as the TOZ system.

The motivations behind the Leezaluth's decision to let Earth fend for itself against Gulfer remain unclear. This ambiguity serves only to heighten the sense of urgency and danger that Dan faces in his quest to save the planet.

As Dan navigates through eight stages, he will be aided by the TOZ system, a magical orb that orbits his ship and can be targeted at enemy vessels to absorb their weaponry. With the TOZ's help, Dan must confront an array of formidable foes, including enormous bosses, in a desperate bid to preserve Earth's future.
