Hellfire

In 2998, humanity had finally reached the stars and built a peaceful society, but it was threatened by the Black Nebula, a space matter that began to spread across the galaxies. A robotic dictator named Super Mech was behind this occurrence. The Earth sends Captain Lancer, a skilled pilot, to stop him using his powerful aircraft, the CNCS1, equipped with the Hellfire.

The game is a horizontal space shooter where you control Captain Lancer as he navigates hostile areas and battles quick and numerous enemies. What makes this shooter unique is that you can choose the direction of your shots at any time between forward, backward, upward, downward, and 4-way diagonal. The 4-way diagonal shot is particularly effective and allows for interesting gameplay setups, such as stationary guns that require precise positioning to access. The game also features a bomb that can take out multiple enemies, as well as pickups to increase your ship's speed and power.
