Speedball 2

As manager of Speedball 2, you're tasked with leading the worst team in the league to success. The season consists of two divisions with a championship system, as well as two cup tournaments that test your skills against rival teams.

The heart of the game lies in the matches themselves, which are played over two 90-second periods. With fast-paced and frantic gameplay, tackling is key to gaining possession of the ball. Players can collect power-ups and tokens during play, including those that boost their strength or freeze opponents.

The pitch features score multipliers on each side, which increase the value of scoring if you run the ball through them. Be cautious, as opponents may immediately grab the ball to nullify this effect. Scoring also involves hitting specific stars, worth 2 points each, although their values can be negated by opponents hitting the same star.

Between matches, you'll earn money and collect silver tokens that appear randomly on the pitch. Use these funds to upgrade your existing players or purchase new ones, as your original players have limited room for improvement.

Various tokens will also appear during matches, granting temporary boosts to your team's power or freezing opponents in place. Mastering the strategy behind Speedball 2 is crucial to achieving victory and leading your team to success.
