Speedball 2

As manager of Speedball 2, you must transform the fortunes of the worst team in the league. The season consists of two 8-team divisions, with challenges to advance to the top. Additionally, there are two cup tournaments, including a two-legged challenge where the aggregate score decides who progresses.

The game's matches consist of two 90-second periods, offering fast-paced and frantic gameplay. You can tackle opponents to retrieve the ball, and power-ups like tokens can appear on the pitch to make your players more formidable or freeze the opposition.

The sides of the pitch feature score multipliers that can increase the value of your scoring if you run the ball through them. However, the opposition may cancel this out by grabbing the ball immediately. The pitch also includes stars worth 2 points each, which can be canceled out by the opposition hitting them. Portals on the side of the pitch can throw the ball in the opposite direction.

After each match, you earn money and silver tokens that can be spent to improve your existing players or buy new ones. It's essential to remember where your signed players are and use them effectively, as they have limited improvement potential.

During matches, various tokens appear, including those that boost your team's power for a short time or freeze the opposition. Managing your tokens wisely can give you an edge in the game.
