Dr. Franken , a Game Boy exclusive released in 1992, is an action-packed adventure that follows the journey of Franky , one of Dr Von Frankenbone's creations, as he searches for his lost love Bitsy . The story begins when Franky discovers that Bitsy has been kidnapped by other evil creations in the castle, leaving behind pieces of herself scattered throughout.

Players must guide Franky through various levels, navigating obstacles such as falling objects, trapdoors, and treacherous terrain. Franky 's arsenal includes a shooting ability that can be used to defeat enemies, but he also needs to dodge attacks and find ways to survive.

Franky 's health can be replenished at power outlets, while lamps provide crucial light in dark dungeons. The game requires strategy and quick reflexes as Franky attempts to collect the scattered pieces of Bitsy and rescue her from the clutches of Dr Von Frankenbone's evil creations.
