Advance Wars , released in 2001, is a turn-based strategy game that draws inspiration from a classic Japanese strategy game. The game pits players against very challenging computer AI in battles involving various units such as submarines, warships, infantry, tanks, helicopters, and more. Players can capture buildings to gain financial resources and repair damaged units on the map. During combat, two units face off, with the outcome determined by their strengths, terrain conditions, and other factors.
The gameplay of Advance Wars is engaging and challenging, requiring players to think strategically about unit placement, resource management, and tactical positioning. With up to four players able to play using the Game Boy Advance or through the use of the Game Link Cable, there's plenty of competition to be had.
