The Mummy is a thrilling 2D action-adventure game for the Game Boy Advance, set in a bird's-eye view world inspired by The Mummy: The Animated Series . When the O'Connell family travels to Egypt to investigate mysterious occurrences near Cairo, they stumble upon Ardeth Bay, who suspects Imhotep is behind it all.
With the ability to switch freely between Alex, Rick, and Evy, each character brings unique skills to the table. Rick's strength will come in handy in battles, while Evy's knowledge of hieroglyphs can unlock hidden secrets. Alex's lock-picking abilities will also prove useful in navigating the ancient ruins. As you explore the underground tunnels, beware of scorpions and undead creatures that will stop at nothing to get you. Your goal is to find keys to unlock doors and collect coins to revive fallen family members.
A separate 3D game was released for the PlayStation 2 and Windows, offering a different take on the Mummy's adventure.
