Wario Land II is a game about revenge. Special agents from the Black Sugar Gang of Kitchen Island sneak into Wario Land II 's castle and steal back treasure that Wario took from them in their previous encounter with Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 . As a result, Wario must clean up the mess he made and reclaim what's his.
The gameplay of Wario Land II is action-packed and adventurous. In this game, you play as Wario, who has become immortal to a certain point. When hit by an enemy, Wario loses the coins he collected in each level instead of dying. He can also turn into other Warios, like Fire Wario or Zombie Wario, which can help him reach new areas or block his own progress.
