Centipede is a remake of the classic arcade shooter Centipede, originally released by Atari in 1980. The story follows a hero who must blast away at centipedes and other creatures that are threatening their world. As the player progresses through five worlds - Weedom, Frostonia, Infernium, Enigma, and Evile - they will encounter new enemies and challenges.
The gameplay of Centipede is a mix of shooter-style gameplay and console-style exploration. Players must blast away at the centipedes, spiders, fleas, scorpions, mosquito, cockroach, and killer mushroom while fighting their way through each world. A "classic" mode allows players to play the original game in a new 3D isometric perspective.
