The gameplay experience remains largely unchanged from its original counterpart. A player is situated at the base of the screen, tasked with shooting various insects – including spiders, fleas, scorpions, and most notably, a centipede that moves horizontally across the screen. The key objective is to hit the centipede before it advances down the screen upon encountering an obstacle.
The game features several optional settings for added customization: players can adjust the difficulty level, choose their starting number of lives, and set the movement speed of the insects. Furthermore, players have the option to select from different start levels and invert the screen layout to accommodate various control preferences.
