Grandmother Hatsu has a birthday. She wants it to be a special day, and is eagerly waiting for her presents. However, father Taneo, mother Etsuko, son Tsuyoshi and daughter Ririka have all forgotten about that. They have to buy last-minute presents for the grandmother, and make it home in time for the party. Sounds simple? Not quite: each member of this completely ordinary, working-class family is delayed by inexplicable obstacles, which involve, among others, bank robbers, UFOs, miniaturization, and a giant teddy bear who is out to demolish Tokyo.
Incredible Crisis is an action-packed game featuring 24 unique mini-games that players must complete in a specific order. The mini-games cover a range of activities, including driving sequences, obstacle-dodging, shooting, and even synchronized dancing. A few mini-games require different skills, such as calculating the weight of an item.
The mini-games are tied together by a story told through CG animated cutscenes, which sets the scene for what players need to do next. Once all the mini-games have been completed in order, they can be accessed directly from the main menu.

This is a comedic action/adventure game where players guide Taneo and his family through a series of bizarre and hilarious mini-games and challenges. The goal is to overcome these "cardiac arrest inducing dilemmas" and get home in time for Grandma's birthday, all while testing the player's reflexes and sanity.
Story
About the Game
The severe fun of Incredible Crisis is all about maintaining your sanity as you help Taneo's family get home in time for Grandma's Birthday. It's a happy day and the worst day of their life, as they endure hundreds of hilarious and cardiac arrest inducing dilemmas.
You'll laugh, cry, freak out, and perhaps soil your shorts, while your mental and physical reflexes are put to the test. The controls are simple, but thumb and forefinger injury is still a risk.
Be warned, this game is severely fun and may cause obsessive compulsive behavior, if not nervous disorders and/or involuntary twitches. Enjoy severe fun.

Setup

Stress Meter
The stress meter is an important part of the game and is displayed throughout. It indicates damage, time limit or water level depending on each game.
If the meter reaches its boiling point the game is over. The Stress Meter rises from the bottom. If you are close to danger, then his ears will erupt. If the meter is full he will blow his top, ending the game.
The number inside the Stress Meter indicates how many continues (lives/chances) you have left. If you can't clear a mini-game before the number reaches zero, the game is over and you return to the title screen.
