MAIN MENU
When you first load the game, you will see the Main menu with various options and settings. You can highlight items by aiming a light gun or using the D-Pad. Pressing X selects the highlighted option.
Within each menu screen, you'll find options that either display another screen or let you adjust game settings.
Some options use a dial to show their current setting. You can increase or decrease this by highlighting and selecting the plus or minus (+/-) buttons. The dial in the center of the option bar indicates the current level.
Other options are On/Off switches. You can change their setting by highlighting and selecting either On or Off. The current setting is shown in the central red bar. To return to the Main menu, press Ξ.
If the game is left on the Main menu, it will automatically start demo mode. To exit demo mode and return to the Main menu, press any button on the controller or light gun.

Difficulty Level
There are three difficulty options: Easy, Medium, or Hard. Changing the difficulty affects the power-ups you collect and the enemies.
Higher difficulty levels mean less effective power-ups and more powerful enemies that require more hits to destroy. The difficulty is set to Medium by default, unless saved otherwise on a memory card.
Save Status
This option allows you to save your scores and settings to a memory card. Ensure a memory card is in slot 1; slot 2 is not used.
When you select this option, you will be asked "Are you sure you wish to save?" with two choices:
β’
Confirm Save - Select this to save game details to a memory card. If you've saved to the same card before, you'll be asked to overwrite. Select Yes to overwrite, or No to cancel and return to the Options menu.
β’
Cancel Save - Select this to cancel the save action and exit the menu. All information stored on the memory card will automatically reload the next time you play Judge Dredd.
Warning: Never remove or insert memory cards during saving, loading, or formatting. Ensure enough free blocks are on your memory card before playing. Refer to memory card instructions for details.
CONTROLLER CALIBRATION
Highlighting and selecting the Controllers option brings up a screen for setting control devices for each player. The game automatically detects the device connected to each PlayStation controller port. Light Gun
If a light gun is connected, a "Gun Calibration" option appears. Selecting this takes you to the calibration screen.
To calibrate, aim and fire at the white squares. Shoot the top-left white square five times, then the bottom-right white square five times. A screen showing the test marker will appear. If satisfied, select Accept; otherwise, press High Explosive to cancel.
Controller
If using a controller, a "Controller Calibration" option appears. This screen has two options:
β’
Controller Speed - A circular dial indicates the current speed. Adjust it with the plus or minus (+/-) buttons. This changes the crosshair speed in the game.
β’
Test - Displays a cursor operated by your controller. Press X to exit this screen.
Once satisfied with changes, press Ξ to exit back to the Main menu.
Warning: It is advisable not to insert or remove peripherals once the power is on. A controller or light gun must always be in controller port 1 while playing.

HIT THE STREETS
Use the Lawgiver gun to kill enemy androids, gun turrets, and combat vehicles. Avoid hitting innocent people, who can be identified by their panicked waves.
Aim with the light gun or crosshair, then use Fire to shoot. High Explosive provides a powerful blast that destroys most enemies in one shot. Use these sparingly, as you start with only one charge. Collect extra charges and other bonuses along the way.
Some light guns have an Autofire option, but it's not allowed. You can collect weapon power-ups like Scatter, Rapid Fire, and Heat Seekers.
Remember to reload your weapon, but be careful not to overuse the reload action, as it can cause the Lawgiver to jam. END OF LEVEL INFORMATION
At the end of each stage, you'll see details
