Mary King's Riding Star , a managerial simulation game, is set in the equestrian sports business. The game focuses on the athletic part, where players aim to win as many championships as possible in dressage, cross country, and showjumping events.
To achieve this goal, players must "manage" their horse by using training grounds to improve its skills. They also have to manually clean the stall, feed, and groom the horse. The game features isometric perspective with spoken commentary, showcasing championships. Players can personalize the game by naming their horse and choosing its color.
The game is largely based on the original Riding Star from 1998 and was created in cooperation with its developer Blue Tongue .
