Tigershark is set in 2060, where a Russian commander is seeking to sink the entire Pacific tectonic plate by constructing geothermal taps in the ocean. Only the Tigershark , a powerful prototype attack subfoil (submarine-hydrofoil) can stop it. The Tigershark will encounter enemy submarines, hostile aircraft, and powerful battle cruisers in battles in both sea and air. Some missions require escorting ally submarines to safety.
The gameplay of Tigershark is action-packed and full of intensity, with players controlling the Tigershark as it navigates through treacherous underwater and aerial combat situations. With a range of weapons at its disposal, the player must use their skills to take down enemy targets and complete objectives.
Tigershark was released on the Playstation in 1997 and has since become a cult classic among retro gamers.
