Gameplay remains largely unchanged from its predecessor, with most modes and mini-games returning as before. However, a new rivalry system has been introduced, where players can earn statistical bonuses and takeaways based on their performance against rival teams. While some features have not been carried over from the Xbox 360 version, including the "cinematic" presentation system, this is most noticeable in the graphical area.
