Shadow of the Beast II follows the story of Gorgar as he sets out to rescue his sister from the clutches of the evil Beast-mage. The introduction, now a classic on the Amiga platform, showcases the Beast-mage's sinister plans and sets the stage for an epic adventure filled with puzzles and challenges.
The gameplay in Shadow of the Beast II is a side-on scrolling beat 'em up, similar to The Way of the Exploding Fist, but with added puzzle-solving elements. As Gorgar navigates through treacherous landscapes, he must battle hordes of monsters and overcome obstacles to reach his sister.
Shadow of the Beast II was released in 1992 for the Sega Genesis console and has since become a cult classic among retro gaming enthusiasts.
