Hyper V-Ball , a volleyball simulation game based on Power Spikes , puts you in the side-view perspective, where movement is limited to left or right. You can choose from three leagues: Men's League, Woman's League, and Hyper League for robots. Two buttons control the ball: one for normal actions and another for special "Hyper Plays" used only in the Hyper League.
Gameplay revolves around blocking and attacking based on the ball's speed and player positioning. Team members under your direct control will automatically position themselves or prepare spikes, but they won't block on their own. However, you can instruct them to block by pressing the action button at the right moment. The game requires strategy and timing.
