Wolfenstein 3D , released on the Super Nintendo in 1994, is an adaptation of the classic first-person shooter with some notable changes. The game's storyline follows B.J. Blazkowicz as he navigates through six missions, each consisting of simplified versions of original levels from Wolfenstein 3D . The final boss battles are a combination of enemies from both Wolfenstein 3D and its prequel, Spear of Destiny .
The gameplay of Wolfenstein 3D remains largely the same as the original, with players exploring levels, collecting treasures, keys, and power-ups while shooting enemies. However, there are some notable additions and changes, such as new power-ups like the ammo box and backpack, which increase the player's capacity for carrying ammunition. The game also introduces two new weapons: the flame thrower and rocket launcher.
