Madden NFL 10 is the 2009 installment of the Madden NFL franchise, the officially licensed game of the NFL. The game, as with all recent previous installments in the series, was released for all major console platforms of the time.
The Wii version of the game introduces a new visual style and several new game modes. A new tournament mode called 'Madden Showdown' is included, which lets players bet on individual matchups. Another new feature is 'Season Mode', where two players can play together in a cooperative mode. The game also features improved passing controls using the Wii Remote.
A new mode called 'Spotlight Moments' slows down time to allow players to influence key moments in the game. This adds an extra layer of strategy and control to the gameplay experience.
