Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 is an action and adventure game that follows the story of a young football player, Kazuto "Kazu" Saito, who returns to his hometown of Yokohama after dropping out of college. He reunites with his childhood friends and former teammates, who are struggling to make ends meet due to financial troubles.
Gameplay revolves around controlling Kazu as he navigates through various football matches, training sessions, and social interactions. Players can choose from different teams and leagues, each with unique strengths and weaknesses. The game features a dynamic weather system and day-night cycles that affect the gameplay experience.
