Tony Hawk's Proving Ground

The game features four classes of skaters (Rigger, Hardcore, Career, and Street), which influences the story's direction. It also includes an expanded Nail-the-Trick system, allowing players to perform moves such as Nail-the-Grab and Nail-the Manual, Bowl Carving, Aggro Push, Skate Checking, Climbing/Exploration, Environment Altering, and Rig-a-Kit.

During gameplay, players can receive advice from professional skaters to help shape their own created skater and learn new moves and tricks. Players also have the ability to create their own skate park.
