Memory Cards
To save game settings and progress, insert a MEMORY CARD into MEMORY CARD slot 1 of the PlayStation game console before starting play. MEMORY CARD slot 2 is not used. You can load your saved games from the same card, or from any Memory Card containing previously saved DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION™ DISNEY MIX (DDR DISNEY MIX) games.
DDR DISNEY MIX uses 1 block of Memory Card data to save each game. Make sure there are enough free blocks on your Memory Card before commencing play.
Do not insert or remove a Memory Card while saving/loading games or after the power has been turned ON.
HOW TO PLAY
DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION™ DISNEY MIX (DDR DISNEY MIX) combines quick reflexes and timing with dance music. Press the correct Directional Buttons or dance arrows on the DDR Controller that correspond to the arrow(s) that appear on-screen.
The correct dance arrow must be played when it crosses the permanent arrows inside the Step Zone. The Step Zone for each player is located in the upper part of the screen.
Build up your dance gauge and continue to the next stage by successfully completing the dance steps. If you continue to miss dance arrows, the dance gauge level drops. If the gauge drops to zero, the game will end.

MAIN GAME/FREE SELECTION
At the Main Menu screen, highlight Main Game or Free Selection and press the or START Buttons. Brief introductory screens will be displayed followed by the Mode Selection screen.
At the Mode Selection screen, select from Single, Couple or Double play mode and confirm the selection with the or START Buttons.
•
Single: One player game.
•
Couple: Two players dance together.
•
Double: One player uses both the Player 1 and Player 2 controllers.
After choosing a play mode, the Music Selection screen will appear. Use the Directional Buttons on the controller or the Left and Right buttons on the DDR Controller to cycle through the different songs. A preview of each song will play automatically before a selection is made.
The difficulty of each song can be adjusted by double-tapping the Up/Down Directional Buttons on the controller or the Up/Down Directional Buttons on the DDR Controller. The difficulty level of each song is ranked by stars. A higher number of stars indicate a higher level of difficulty.
After choosing the song and adjusting the desired level of difficulty, begin the stage by pressing the or START Buttons. Good luck!
•
Basic: This difficulty setting is designed to introduce you to the different songs in the game. Dance steps follow normal patterns in this setting. If you are new to DDR DISNEY MIX, this is a great difficulty level to start with after you complete the Lesson Mode.
•
Trick: Intermediate difficulty where dance steps follow complex patterns.
•
Maniac: Strictly for the dancing pros. This is the hardest level of difficulty where dance steps follow insane patterns. The Maniac level is unlocked after all songs have been passed on the Trick level of difficulty.
•
Note: The Maniac level is not available in Double play mode.
DANCE MAGIC
Dance Magic mode introduces the use of magic cards called "DJ Cards." Each DJ Card has different magical properties that can be cast onto the opposing player, affecting the dance step patterns they must perform.
