Fatal Frame 2 is a horror game developed by Tecmo and published by Konami. The story follows Kei Minamoto, a high school student who discovers she has the ability to see and photograph ghosts using her family's cursed camera.
Players control Kei as she explores haunted locations throughout Japan, taking photographs of ghosts with the camera to uncover their secrets and uncover the truth behind her family's tragic past. The gameplay involves exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat against malevolent spirits.
Fatal Frame 2 was released on the PlayStation 2 in December 2003 for Europe and Australia, and features a unique camera-based mechanic that allows players to capture and photograph ghosts, while also avoiding their attacks.
