NBA 2K8 brings back the exciting basketball action from the previous titles in the series, with a roster update and new features. Gameplay remains consistent with its predecessors, but some tweaks have been added to enhance player control. Players can now switch between teammates on offense, setting up alley-oops and screens to deceive defenses. The right analog stick is used for defensive purposes, allowing players to lock onto opponents and execute defensive plays. Additionally, the game features Signature Style, which gives NBA players a more lifelike and fluid appearance.
