SSX is a snowboarding game that lets you create your skier or snowboarder and get on the slopes. The game has a new interface, which looks like a mix between MTV and a doodle book, where you select the challenge you want to take part in rather than using a board to reach it.
The gameplay is improved with easier-to-use controls for "Monster Jumps" (Uber Tricks), making it easy for everyone to perform tricks like a professional without learning complex button combinations. The game still requires repetition to progress, but now anyone can become a skilled snowboarder.
SSX promises big jumps, fast pace and lots of colourful, detailed slopes for you to explore. The game also features special characters from the Mario universe, including Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach, each with their own moves and music.
The SSX game was released on the Playstation 3 on 28th February 2012.
