The story of Resident Evil CODE Veronica takes place after the events of Resident Evil 2 . Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, members of the elite law enforcement agency S.T.A.R.S., are captured by the sinister Umbrella Corporation and taken to a remote island. The pair soon discover that they have been infected with a mysterious virus and must work together to uncover the truth behind their situation.
