PGA Tour Golf II is a golf game that follows up on PGA Tour Golf and provides a condensed version of its Genesis counterpart, PGA Tour Golf II . Players can choose to play as either a generic pro golfer or an amateur and compete against four real-life pros. The game features six different locations for players to choose from, including tournament mode, skins play, and practice mode.
Gameplay involves using a cursor on a top-down view of the map to determine the location of the shot, while another view from behind the golfer helps avoid obstacles such as trees. Players use a meter to adjust the draw or fade in their shot by pressing the B button to start and again to stop the power meter. However, players must also contend with changing wind and weather conditions during gameplay.
PGA Tour Golf II features four-player capabilities using Gear-to-Gear links as well as a password feature for added replay value.
PGA Tour Golf II was released in 1995 for the Sega Game Gear console.
