PGA TOUR Golf II is a sports game that follows up on PGA Tour Golf and serves as a reduced version of its Genesis counterpart. The player can choose to play as either a generic pro golfer or an amateur, competing against four real-life pros: Fred Couples, Paul Azinger, Craig Stadler, and Fuzzy Zoeller. Six different locations are available for players to compete in.
Gameplay involves using a cursor on a top-down view of the map to determine shot location and another view from behind the golfer to avoid obstacles like trees. Players use a meter at the bottom left to adjust draw or fade for their shot. To hit the ball, they press the B button twice: once to start the power meter and again to stop it.
Players must adapt to changing wind and weather conditions during gameplay, which can drastically alter the outcome of their shots. The game features four-player capabilities using Gear-to-Gear links, as well as a password feature.
PGA TOUR Golf II was released in 1994 for the Sega Game Gear console.
