The story of Pac-Man revolves around a yellow creature with a distinctive shape, who must navigate through a maze filled with ghosts. The player's goal is to eat as much food as possible while avoiding being caught by the ghosts.

The gameplay of Pac-Man consists of controlling the yellow character as it moves left and right through the maze. The player must eat all the pellets in the maze while avoiding the four ghosts: Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde. If a ghost catches Pac-Man, the game is over.
