Riddick Bowe Boxing is another boxing game released at the time, but with some subtle differences. The HUD contains damage and energy meters along with a miniature ring up the top of the screen, which helps players see their position in the ring to avoid getting cornered easily.
Players can compete in different modes, including 1-Player v. CPU, 1-Player v. 2-Player, or even a career mode. In this mode, there are four preset fighters to choose from, and players can also create their own custom boxers. The career starts at position #25 in the ranking and players work their way up the ladder by competing in bouts and going to the gym to build up stats.
The game is similar to Evander Holyfield's Real Deal Boxing , but with different graphics and fighters. It's a straightforward boxing game that challenges players to become a top boxer.
