Riddick Bowe Boxing is another boxing game released in 1994, with subtle differences from its peers. The user interface features a display of damage and energy meters, along with a miniature ring at the top of the screen, aiding players in navigating the ring without getting cornered.
Players can engage in various game modes, including 1-Player versus CPU, 1-Player versus 2-Player, or a career mode. In this latter option, there are four pre-set fighters to choose from and an option to create a custom boxer. The player's career begins at rank #25, progressing through the ranks by competing in bouts and training at the gym between matches. Ultimately, the goal is to take on Riddick Bowe himself.
The game is largely based on Evander Holyfield's Real Deal Boxing , with only minor differences in graphics style and included fighters.
