Arcus Odyssey is set in a world where evil has returned after a long period of peace. The dark sorceress Castomira seeks to conquer the world, but her powers are weakened by a magic sword forged by a brave princess. However, the followers of Castomira have stolen the sword, leaving the world in danger.
The game is an action-packed Arcus Odyssey -like experience with elements of strategy and RPG-style gameplay. Players can choose from four characters to battle their way through dungeons and castles, collecting items and defeating monsters along the way. The game features an isometric perspective typical of the genre, allowing for 2-player co-op multiplayer action.
