Action Fighter is a top-down vertically scrolling shooter where you start off as a motorbike. At first, you're quite vulnerable to attack, but power-ups from a Sega van can give you double fire, a rocket, a rear force field, and eventually invulnerability.
The goal is to destroy cars and bikes on your way to collect A-F letters, which will allow you to transform into a sports car, then a high-tech plane. Collecting all the letters in order unlocks this transformation, and the high-tech plane is necessary to reach your final target within a time limit.
As you progress through the mission, you'll also need to collect flags to earn bonus points, with 10,000 points granting an extra life. With careful timing, you can complete the mission and achieve success in Action Fighter .
