Shellshock , released in 1995 for the Sega Saturn, follows Da Wardenz' anti-terrorist tank force as they respond to threats around the world. You play as a rookie hired by the team, tasked with completing 25 increasingly difficult missions to prove yourself.
The game takes place within 'The Pen', Da Wardenz' headquarters, which serves as a hub for exploring and interacting with team members before embarking on each mission. Upon starting a mission, you control the M-13 Predator tank from a first-person perspective, featuring arcade-style gameplay reminiscent of titles like 'Quarantine' and 'Doom'.
The game allows for unlimited bullets, high durability, and the ability to destroy enemies, as well as trees and buildings. Completing each mission earns cash, which can be used to repair your tank and upgrade its capabilities.
