David Crane's Amazing Tennis is a tennis game that offers both an exhibition mode and a tournament mode. In the head-to-head exhibition mode, players can choose their opponent from a list of ranked players. The tournament mode allows for 16 different players to compete to become the champion, and can be played on grass, hard, or clay courts. Players can also choose whether they want to play as left- or right-handed tennis players.
The gameplay involves serving the ball, which makes the player closer to the screen. Players can use various shots such as topspin, drop shots, volleys, lob, slices, and overhead smashes to outmaneuver their opponents. They can also decide on a hard or soft serve to keep their opponent off balance.
The game features fictional players, but it is endorsed by Footlocker.
