Pete Rose Baseball is a traditional baseball game where you control the pitcher. The gameplay takes place from the pitcher's point of view. You can throw different types of pitches, such as fast balls, curves, change-ups, screwballs, and sinkers.
The gameplay is quite simple, with the main objective being to pitch a strike to the batter. The game gets more challenging as you progress through the levels. When the ball is hit, the game switches to one of five camera angles giving you a different view of the action.
