Demon's Crest is a sequel to Gargoyle's Quest . Once, the world of demons and the world of humans co-existed in harmony. But then six mysterious crests fell from the sky onto the earth, crests of six elements: fire, water, air, earth, time, and heaven. The demons became obsessed with the crests and with the power hidden in them, and so a civil war started. Finally, the Red Demon named Firebrand got all the crests but one - the crest of heaven. The Dragon Demon possessed this crest, so Firebrand decided to confront him. He defeated the Dragon Demon but was himself severely wounded in battle.
Firebrand can also fly for a short time, which will help him navigate through the levels and overcome challenges. With his magical powers and flying abilities, Firebrand is ready to take on the forces of evil and reclaim his rightful place as the greatest demon of all time.

This is a fantasy action-adventure game set in a world once divided into peaceful human and demon realms, which has now erupted into a brutal civil war over six magical crests that fell from the sky. Players control Firebrand, a powerful red demon who has conquered his rivals to claim five of the stones in a quest to end the conflict. To achieve ultimate power and restore order, the player must guide Firebrand through dangerous lands to secure the final remaining crest.
Story
A Legend of Two Realms
Many years ago, during a time of fantasy and intrigue, people loved to spin tales of great warriors rising up against tyrannical rulers. One such legend spoke of a world that was once divided into two different lands. These two realms, one ruled by humans and the other by demons, existed in harmony with rarely any conflict between them.
This peace ended on a fateful day when six magical stones fell from the sky into the demon's realm. Inscribed on these stones were the Crests of Fire, Earth, Air, Water, Time, and Heaven. When united, these crests would grant unimaginable power to the holder.
The Demon Civil War
The demons soon began to fight over these magical crests, causing the demon realm to erupt into a civil war. The land remained in turmoil over the stones until one red demon finally emerged victorious. By defeating all the others, this demon, known as Firebrand, obtained five of the stones.
Firebrand possessed the Crests of Fire, Earth, Air, Water, and Time, but he was not satisfied that this would end the conflict.
How to Play
Starting the Game
•
Insert the Demon's Crest Game Pak into your Super Nintendo Entertainment System and turn the power on.
•
Press the START button to bring up the title screen, or watch the opening scenes to find out about Firebrand's plight in the demon realm.
Title Screen Options
•
START: Choose this option and press the START button to begin playing the game.
•
CONTINUE: Refer to the corresponding section in the manual for an explanation of this option.
•
OPTIONS: Refer to the corresponding section in the manual for an explanation of this option.
To select an option, press the control pad left or right to highlight your choice, then press the START button.
Ending the Game
•
To end the game at any time, simply turn your Super Nintendo Entertainment System off and remove your Game Pak.

Jump up to wall
Grab hold of wall or platform
Press the Y button

Input your password by using the control pad to move the wand and pressing the B or Y button to change letters, then select END and press START. If you choose END after a GAME OVER, the current password is shown and will automatically appear in the password entry screen if you restart immediately without turning off the system.
