The brave Prince of Persia finds himself in a predicament after defeating the evil Grand Vizier Jaffar. The Prince's reward for saving the day is to receive the hand of the beautiful daughter of the Persian Sultan, but his appearance suddenly turns into that of a beggar. It seems Jaffar has returned from the dead seeking vengeance against the Prince.
Prince of Persia 2 builds upon its predecessor's cinematic platforming experience, with precise jumping puzzles and swordfighting at its core. The gameplay is focused on staying alive while overcoming obstacles, hazards, and hordes of enemies that attack the Prince. Swordfighting takes center stage, often with reinforcements arriving after clearing visible foes. Completing the game within a time limit remains crucial.
